CLAY-COATED PAPERBOARD
Papelera del Sur conducts the business of coated paperboard, through its production plant located in Tornquist (Buenos Aires) and Index, its recycling division, located in Villa Luzuriaga (Buenos Aires), together with H. Kock, in charge of reel splitting and paperboard distribution.
The company specializes in the production of clay-coated paperboard, raw material used for manufacturing folding cartons with high-quality printing requirements. This material offers a three-fold ecological benefit: it is recyclable, biodegradable and it is produced from recycled paper fibers. Papelera del Sur’s paperboard combines the ideal gloss and whiteness qualities with remarkable rigidity and an effective cost-benefit relationship; all of them essential features when it comes to top-quality packaging.
With the aim of offering a first-class service, the company designs materials to fit every need, providing experience and new ideas, combining technology with know-how, flexibility with a quick turnaround, and guaranteeing supply via an advanced distribution system.

FOLDING CARTONS AND MICRO-CORRUGATED CONTAINERS
This business unit operates through Interpack, which owns two industrial plants in Lomas del Mirador and Villa Luzuriaga, both in the Province of Buenos Aires (Argentina); Innovapack, whose headquarters are in Itaquaquecetuba, Sao Paulo (Brazil); and Selecta Envases, located in Santiago de Chile. Mainly, they produce packaging for mass consumption goods. Farmográfica(Joint venture), in the City of Buenos Aires (Argentina), also belongs to this unit and specializes in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, personal care and luxury markets.
This unit is one of the largest manufacturers of folding cartons in South America. With fully integrated production processes that go from structural conceptions and graphic design, our industrial plants, equipped with cutting-edge technology, produce folding cartons and micro-corrugated containers through offset printing technique.
In a constant search, so as to offer its customers distinguishing proposals, the company has expanded its product portfolio, developing rigid boxes with fine finishing details.
As a result of a joint venture with MeadWestvaco Corporation- which led to the creation of Meadwestvaco Packaging Systems Argentina, the Group has also a large market share in the multiple packaging market in Argentina, which consists in automatically grouping primary packaging to produce unit sales that boost consumption.
